To use Sea-Band wristbands, simply place one band on each wrist with the button positioned correctly.
Sea-Band wristbands are designed to be worn on both wrists simultaneously. The key to their use lies in the precise placement of the button on each band over a specific acupressure point called the Nei-Kuan point (P6).
Here's a simple guide on how to use them:
Step-by-Step Usage
- Wear on Both Wrists: Ensure you have two bands, one for each wrist. Wearing only one band is not recommended.
- Position the Button: The button on the wristband must be placed face-down directly over the Nei-Kuan point.
- Wear as Needed: Keep the bands on for as long as they are required.
Finding the Nei-Kuan Point
Locating the correct spot for the button is crucial for the wristbands to function as intended. The Nei-Kuan point is found on the inside of your wrist.
Follow these steps to find it:
- Turn your hand over so your palm is facing up.
- Place your three middle fingers against the inside of your wrist, with the edge of the first finger resting on the crease where your hand meets your wrist.
- The Nei-Kuan point is located just beneath your index finger.
- Feel between the two prominent central tendons in your forearm; the point is situated right between them at that level.
Once you have located the point on one wrist, repeat the process for the other wrist and position the button of the second band over the same point.
