To trim a video in Adobe Captivate, follow these steps:
- After you've recorded your video, click the Edit button to open the video editing interface within Captivate. This allows you to make modifications.
- Position the Playhead: Move the playhead (the marker indicating the current point in the video) to the location where you want to begin trimming. For example, if you want to cut off the first 10 seconds, place the playhead at the 10-second mark.
- Click Trim: Select the Trim option (usually found in the video editing toolbar).
- Adjust Trim Markers: When you click Trim at a specific point in the timeline, Captivate will likely insert Trim Begin and Trim End markers on both sides of the playhead. Drag these markers to define the exact section of the video you want to keep. Anything outside these markers will be removed.
These steps will allow you to effectively trim unwanted sections from the beginning or end (or even middle sections) of your video within Adobe Captivate.
