To delete part of a drawing in Adobe, use the Eraser Tool.
Here's how to do it:
- Select the Eraser Tool (E): Locate and select the Eraser Tool. You can typically find it in the toolbar on the left side of your Adobe application. Pressing the "E" key will also select the Eraser Tool.
- Customize Tool Settings: In the tool options bar (usually at the top of the screen), adjust settings like:
- Size: Control the size of the eraser. A larger size erases a wider area.
- Hardness: Determines the edge of the eraser. A hard edge creates a sharp erasure, while a soft edge creates a feathered effect.
- Mode: Choose from Brush, Pencil or Block to define the type of eraser you'll be using
- Erase: Click and drag the eraser over the areas of the drawing you want to remove.
