Published in Adobe Premiere Pro 1 min read

Adding a title in Adobe Premiere Pro is a simple process. You can use the Type Tool, or a keyboard shortcut, to begin creating your title directly in the program monitor.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Type Tool: You can find the Type Tool (looks like a "T") in the Tools panel.
  2. Keyboard Shortcut: Press the "T" key on your keyboard to quickly select the Type Tool.
  3. Click in the Program Monitor: Once the Type Tool is selected, click anywhere within the Program Monitor window where you want to place your title.
  4. Type Your Title: Start typing your desired title text.
  5. Customize Your Title: Use the Essential Graphics panel to modify your title's font, size, color, alignment, and other properties. You can find the Essential Graphics panel by going to Window > Essential Graphics.

By following these steps, you can easily add and customize titles to your video projects in Adobe Premiere Pro.
