To remove an alarm on an Android phone, you can often long-press the alarm you want to delete.
Many Android phones allow you to delete an alarm by simply long-pressing it within the Clock app (or whichever app you use to set your alarms). If that doesn't work, follow these more detailed steps:
-
Open the Clock App: Find the Clock app on your Android device and open it.
-
Navigate to the Alarm Tab: Look for a tab labeled "Alarm" (it may be represented by an alarm clock icon). Tap this tab.
-
Locate the Alarm: Find the alarm you want to remove in the list.
-
Delete the Alarm:
- Long Press (Most Common): Try long-pressing the alarm. A delete option may appear. Select "Delete" or a similar option.
- Toggle Switch: If long-pressing doesn't work, the alarm might have a toggle switch next to it. Turn the toggle switch off. This disables the alarm, effectively removing it from your active alarms, although it won't completely delete it. You can then often tap on the disabled alarm, which will then provide a delete button/option.
- Edit/More Options: Some devices require you to tap the alarm to edit it. Within the edit screen, there should be a "Delete" button or a menu (often represented by three dots) with a "Delete" option.
