What is my device model?

Published in Android Devices 1 min read

To find out your device model, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to Settings: On your Android device, locate and open the "Settings" app. The icon usually looks like a gear or cogwheel.

  2. Scroll Down: In the Settings menu, scroll down until you find an entry labelled either "About Phone" or "About Device." The exact wording might vary slightly depending on the manufacturer and Android version.

  3. Tap "About Phone" or "About Device": Select the appropriate option.

  4. Locate "Model": Within the "About Phone" or "About Device" section, you should find an entry specifically labelled "Model." This entry will display your device's model number or name.

Example:

If your phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21, after following these steps, you would find "Samsung Galaxy S21" listed under the "Model" section. If it's a Google Pixel 7, you'd see "Google Pixel 7" (or a similar designation). The model number may also appear here or in a separate entry such as "Model Number".
