Chi-Chi had a crush on Goku.
While other characters might have admired Goku or developed strong friendships with him, Chi-Chi is the primary character depicted as having romantic feelings for him. She fell in love with Goku early in the Dragon Ball series. Goku, naive and focused on training, was initially unaware of Chi-Chi's affections and the concept of romantic love. He agreed to marry her, misunderstanding marriage as a type of food. Despite this unusual beginning, their relationship evolved, and they eventually married and had children.
