Paying with your iPhone is easy and convenient using Apple Pay.
Setting up Apple Pay
Before you can pay, you'll need to add a credit, debit, or prepaid card to your Apple Wallet:
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the plus (+) button in the top right corner.
- Choose "Debit or Credit Card."
- You can either scan your card using your camera or enter the card details manually. If scanning, position your card within the frame that appears on the screen. If entering manually, input the card number, expiration date, security code (CVV), and your name.
- Review the terms and conditions and agree to them.
- Your bank or card issuer might require additional verification. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process.
Paying with Apple Pay in Stores
Once your card is added, you can use Apple Pay in stores that display the Apple Pay or contactless payment symbol:
- Double-click the side button (on iPhones with Face ID) or rest your finger on the Home button (on iPhones with Touch ID). This will activate Apple Pay.
- Authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
- Hold your iPhone near the contactless reader.
- Wait for the checkmark and Done message to appear on your screen, indicating that the payment is complete.
