How do I Rearrange my Apple Watch Apps?

Published in Apple Watch Customization 2 mins read

You can rearrange your Apple Watch apps using the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Here's how:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. This is the app you use to manage your Apple Watch settings and features.
  2. Tap "My Watch". This will bring you to the main settings screen for your Apple Watch.
  3. Tap "App View". Here you can choose between "Grid View" or "List View." If you choose "List View," apps will be arranged alphabetically. If you choose "Grid View," you will see the arrangement you've set.
  4. Tap "Arrangement". This opens the screen where you can customize the app layout.
  5. Touch and hold an app icon. This will make the app icon "jiggle", indicating that you can now move it.
  6. Drag the app icon to a new location. Simply drag it to where you would like it on the screen.
  7. Lift your finger to place the app icon in its new position.

Your Apple Watch app arrangement will automatically update on your Apple Watch.

  • Grid View: This view allows you to freely move app icons around the screen.
  • List View: This view automatically arranges apps in alphabetical order, and you cannot manually reorder them.
Option Description
Grid View Allows manual app arrangement by dragging icons.
List View Arranges apps alphabetically, with no manual reordering option.
