How do I turn on my Apple Watch 10?

Published in Apple Watch 2 mins read

To turn on your Apple Watch 10, press and hold the side button (the elongated button on the side) until you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.

If the Apple logo doesn't appear, try the following:

  • Charge your Apple Watch: The battery might be completely drained. Connect it to a power source using the magnetic charging cable and let it charge for at least 15-30 minutes before attempting to turn it on again.
  • Force Restart: If charging doesn't help and the screen remains unresponsive, try a force restart. Press and hold both the side button and the Digital Crown (the round dial) simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo.

Once your Apple Watch 10 turns on for the first time (or after a factory reset), you'll need to pair it with your iPhone:

  1. Bring your iPhone near your Apple Watch.
  2. Wait for the pairing screen to appear on your iPhone. If it doesn't appear automatically, open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  3. Tap "Continue" on your iPhone and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process. You can choose to set it up as new or restore from a backup.

If you continue to experience issues turning on your Apple Watch 10 after attempting these steps, it is recommended to contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store for assistance.
