To delete a single item from an array in AutoCAD, follow these steps:

Press and hold the Ctrl key. This allows you to select individual items within the array.

While holding Ctrl, select the specific item (or items) you wish to remove from the array. Each selected item will typically highlight or change appearance to indicate it is selected.

Execute the deletion command. You can do this in one of two ways:
- Click the Home tab, then go to the Modify panel, and select Erase.
- Simply press the Delete key on your keyboard.
The selected item(s) will be removed from the array, and the remaining items will adjust according to the array's properties (e.g., maintaining spacing if it's a rectangular array).
