To drag a drawing view within AutoCAD, follow these steps:

Select the Drawing View: Move your cursor over the drawing view you want to move. The drawing view border will become visible. Click inside this border to select the view. A grip (usually a small square) will appear at the center of the selected view.

Drag the Grip: Click on the grip at the center of the drawing view. While holding the mouse button down, drag the view to the desired location on the layout.
