To hide objects, including objects within groups in AutoCAD, you can use the "Isolate" command. Here's how:
- Select the objects you don't want to hide. These are the objects you want to remain visible.
- Right-click within the drawing area.
- Choose "Isolate" from the context menu.
- Select "Hide Objects." This will hide all objects except those you selected in step 1, effectively hiding your group if it wasn't part of the selection.
To bring back the hidden objects (unhide the group):
- Right-click within the drawing area.
- Choose "Isolate" from the context menu.
- Select "End Object Isolation." This will restore the visibility of all hidden objects.
Essentially, you isolate the objects you want to see, and everything else is hidden. This works for individual objects and also effectively hides groups.
