To delete parts in Autodesk (assuming you're referring to a CAD program like AutoCAD or Revit), select the part you want to remove and then use the Delete command. Here's how:
-
Select the Part: In the drawing area, click on the part you wish to delete. It should highlight to indicate it's selected.
-
Delete the Part: There are two primary methods for deleting the selected part:
- Press the Delete Key: Simply press the "Delete" key on your keyboard.
- Use the Modify Panel: Navigate to the "Modify" tab in the ribbon. Locate the "Modify" panel. Within this panel, you should find a "Delete" command (often represented by an eraser icon or a cross). Click on this command. In Revit, this may appear as "Modify | Parts tab Modify panel (Delete)".
The selected part will then be removed from your design.
