A normal basophil count is 0.5% to 1% of your white blood cell count. This equates to approximately zero to 300 basophils per microliter of blood in healthy adults. Basophils are a type of white blood cell that helps protect your body from infections. A basophil count outside of this range may indicate a medical condition.
Note: The basophil count may vary slightly based on age, gender, and other factors.
