Attach the Pump Head: Place the pump head (the part that connects to the valve) squarely over the Schrader valve. Make sure it's pushed on far enough to create a good seal.

Engage the Lever (if applicable): Many pump heads have a lever. If yours does, flip the lever to the open (unlocked) position before attaching to the valve, then flip it closed (locked) once the pump head is securely on the valve. This lever secures the connection and prevents air leakage.

Inflate: Start pumping until you reach the desired pressure (or the recommended pressure indicated on the tire/item).
