To undo joined areas in Blender, you need to split the area back into separate windows. This is done by dragging an area's corner to create a new window.
Splitting Joined Areas
Here's how to split areas that have been joined:
- Locate the Corner: Place your cursor on the top-right corner of the left window.
- Identify the Plus Sign: The cursor will change into a plus sign (+) when you're in the correct spot.
- Drag and Split: Left-click and drag the plus sign over the window you want to separate. As you do this, the target window will gray out slightly.
- Release: Release the mouse button when the target window is grayed out. The joined area will then split back into separate windows.
This action will create a new window from the area you dragged from, effectively separating the previously joined area. This process is the reverse of joining areas.
