Rho blood type is a rare occurrence where an individual's red blood cells exhibit both Rh positive and Rh negative antigens. This happens when the person inherits the Rhesus D antigen from one parent and either the C or c antigen from the other parent. In simpler terms, they possess characteristics of both Rh positive and Rh negative blood types.
