Importing your Opera data into Firefox generally involves exporting your bookmarks as an HTML file from Opera and then importing that file into Firefox. Here's how:
Exporting Bookmarks from Opera
- Open Opera.
- Go to File > Import and Export > Export Bookmarks as HTML. This will create an HTML file containing all your Opera bookmarks.
- Save the HTML file to a location you can easily access.
Importing Bookmarks into Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the Bookmarks icon in the toolbar (it looks like a star or a list). If you don't see it, press
Alt
to show the menu bar, then click Bookmarks. - Select Manage Bookmarks at the bottom of the menu. This opens the Library window.
- In the Library window, click Import and Backup.
- Select Import Bookmarks from HTML.
- Locate the HTML file you saved from Opera and select it.
- Click Open. Firefox will now import your Opera bookmarks.
After importing, you can find your Opera bookmarks in a new folder within your Firefox bookmarks. You can then organize them as you like.
