Published in Browser History Management 1 min read

You can delete individual Google searches on Mozilla Firefox using the keyboard shortcuts within the address bar or search bar. Here's how:

Deleting Individual Search Items

To remove specific search entries from your history in Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click on the Address bar or Search bar input field where you have entered a search term in the past. This will display your search history.

  2. Use the (down arrow) and (up arrow) keys to scroll through the list of items in your search history.

  3. Once the item you want to delete is highlighted, press Shift + Delete. This will remove the highlighted search term from your search history.

Example:

Let's say you searched for "best pizza near me" and want to remove that specific search from your history.

  • Click in the address bar.
  • Use the up and down arrow keys to highlight "best pizza near me" in the dropdown list.
  • Press Shift + Delete to remove it.

By following these steps, you can selectively delete unwanted search queries from your Mozilla Firefox search history.
