VWash is currently owned by Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL).
On March 23, 2020, HUL acquired VWash for ₹298 crore. This acquisition brought the intimate hygiene brand under the umbrella of one of the largest FMCG companies in India. Prior to this, VWash was owned and marketed by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals.
Therefore, while Glenmark Pharmaceuticals initially developed and marketed VWash, the brand is now a part of HUL's portfolio. This transition signifies a shift in ownership and strategic direction for VWash within the competitive personal care market.
