To download your calendar, you need to export it via a web browser on your computer; you cannot export it using the Google Calendar app. Here's how:
- Open Google Calendar on your computer: You must use a web browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) on a computer.
- Go to Settings: In the top right corner, click the "Settings" icon (it looks like a gear). Then click "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to Import & Export: In the menu on the left side of the screen, click on "Import & export."
- Export Your Calendar: Under the "Export" section, click the "Export" button. This will download a ZIP file to your computer containing your calendar data.
The downloaded ZIP file contains individual .ics
files, one for each of your calendars. You can then import these .ics
files into other calendar applications or share them as needed. Remember, this process must be completed on a computer using a web browser, not through the mobile app.
