- Step 1: Navigate to your specific course homepage in Canvas.
- Step 2: Look for the right-hand sidebar menu on the page.
- Step 3: Click on the "New Announcement" button that appears in this sidebar.
- Step 4: You will be directed to a page to compose your announcement (add a title, message, etc.).

Method 2: Using the Course Navigation Menu
The Announcements tab is a central hub for viewing and creating all course announcements.
