Steps to Change Your Canvas Course Image
To update the image displayed on your course card in Canvas, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings in your course. Navigate to the specific course where you want to change the picture. You can find the "Settings" link in the course navigation menu, usually located on the left-hand side.
- Select “Choose Image” at the very top of the Course Details tab. Once you are in the course settings, the "Course Details" tab is the default page. Look for the image placeholder or icon at the top of this page and click on "Choose Image."
- Upload an image that you would like to use. A window will appear allowing you to select an image file from your computer. Choose the desired image and follow the prompts to upload it.
After uploading, the new image should appear as the course card picture on your Canvas dashboard.
