How Do I Edit My Google Chrome?

Published in Chrome Customization 1 min read

You can customize your Google Chrome's appearance and functionality directly from the New Tab page settings.

Here's how to edit your Google Chrome browser:

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome application.
  2. Access Customization: On a New Tab page, look at the bottom right corner. You'll find an option that says Customize Chrome (usually a pen icon). Click it.
  3. Shortcuts: Within the customization menu, you'll likely find a section called Shortcuts.
  4. Choose Shortcut Preferences: Under "Shortcuts," you can choose between:
    • My shortcuts: Manually add and manage your preferred website shortcuts.
    • Most visited sites: Chrome automatically displays your frequently visited websites as shortcuts.
  5. Hide Shortcuts: If you prefer a cleaner look, you can turn off Show shortcuts to hide all shortcuts from the New Tab page.

By using these settings, you can tailor your Chrome experience to your liking.
