Steps to Reset Your Chromecast
Follow these steps to perform a factory reset on your Google Chromecast:
- Locate the Button: Make sure your Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered on. Find the button on the back of the Chromecast device.
- Press and Hold: Press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. You'll see the LED light start to blink yellow.
- Wait for the Light to Change: Continue holding the button until the LED light turns solid white.
- Release the Button: Once the LED light turns solid white, release the button. The Chromecast will then reset.
After releasing the button, your Chromecast will begin the factory reset process. Once completed, you'll need to set it up again using the Google Home app.
