The CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator) rating is a measure of a ship's energy efficiency. It is expressed in grams of CO2 emitted per cargo-carrying capacity and nautical mile. The first year of the attained annual operational CII verification will be 2024 for the operation in calendar year 2023.
