How do you put on a leather jacket?

Published in Clothing Care 2 mins read

Simply put, you put on a leather jacket by slipping your arms into the sleeves and adjusting the jacket to fit comfortably on your body, usually closing it with a zipper or buttons.

However, there's a little more to it for optimal comfort and style:

  1. Find a comfortable position: Stand in front of a mirror so you can see what you're doing, or sit down if you prefer.
  2. Open the jacket: Make sure the zipper or buttons are fully undone. This gives you the most room to maneuver.
  3. Insert one arm: Guide your arm through one of the sleeves, ensuring your hand comes out the cuff.
  4. Insert the other arm: Repeat the process with your other arm, guiding it through the remaining sleeve.
  5. Adjust the jacket: Pull the jacket up and around your shoulders, making sure it sits comfortably and evenly on your back.
  6. Close the jacket: Fasten the zipper or buttons, starting from the bottom.
  7. Check the fit: Ensure the jacket isn't too tight or too loose. You should be able to move freely without feeling restricted. The sleeves should end around your wrist bone.

That's it! You're now wearing your leather jacket. Enjoy the look and feel!
