In Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML), the white blood cell (WBC) count is typically elevated. Patients diagnosed with CML often have a WBC count ranging as high as 50,000 and 300,000 (Sweet, 2022). This is significantly higher than a healthy individual's WBC count, which usually falls between 4,000 and 11,000 (Sweet, 2022).
