How Different Colors Affect Pain Perception:

What Color Reduces Pain?

Green light has shown promise in reducing pain. Research indicates that exposure to green light may alleviate migraines and other chronic pain by influencing the body's endogenous opioid system, a natural pain-relieving system. This effect is achieved by altering serotonin levels. Furthermore, studies suggest that white light can also reduce pain perception. Conversely, red light can, in some cases, increase pain sensitivity (hyperalgesia).

It's crucial to note that the effects of color on pain are complex and require further investigation. The effectiveness of color therapy in pain management varies depending on the individual, type of pain, and other factors.
