How do I invert transparency in CorelDRAW?

Published in CorelDRAW Transparency 2 mins read

To invert transparency in CorelDRAW, follow these straightforward steps:

First, select the object with the transparency you wish to reverse. Then:

  • Click the Edit Transparency icon: This is located at the far right of the property bar. This action will open the transparency settings for your selected object.
  • Click the Reverse transparency icon: Inside the transparency settings, you will find the "Reverse transparency" icon. Click this to invert the current transparency.
  • Click OK: After you have inverted the transparency, click OK to apply the changes to your object.

This process will reverse the areas that were transparent, making them opaque, and vice-versa.

For example, if an area was partially transparent, it would become partially opaque after inverting. If an area was fully opaque, it will become fully transparent after inverting.

Step Action
1. Select Object Choose the object in your design that has the transparency effect you wish to invert.
2. Access Transparency Click the Edit Transparency icon on the property bar (far right).
3. Invert Transparency Click the Reverse transparency icon.
4. Apply Changes Click OK to confirm and apply the inverted transparency to the selected object.

By using these steps, you can quickly and easily invert transparency effects on your objects in CorelDRAW.
