Click the Text tool: Located in the design panel to the left of the Canvas, the Text tool button is usually represented by a 'T' icon. Clicking this tool will create a text box on your Canvas and also open text editing options at the top of the screen.

Enter your text: With the text box active on the Canvas, you can simply start typing. Enter text into the text box that appears. As you type, the text will appear within the box on your Canvas.

Choose your font and font style: Once you've entered your text, you can customize its appearance. Choose your font and font style from the options available in the font menu at the top of the screen.
- Font: Select from thousands of fonts available in Design Space, including Cricut fonts, system fonts installed on your computer, or fonts you've uploaded.
