To export audio from DaVinci Resolve, you need to configure the export settings within the Deliver page.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Deliver Page: Click on the Deliver page icon at the bottom of the DaVinci Resolve interface.

  2. Disable Video Export: In the export settings, uncheck the box for "Export Video." This ensures only the audio will be exported.

  3. Select Audio Format: Navigate to the "Audio" tab. Here, you'll choose your desired audio format. Common choices include:

    • WAV: A high-quality, uncompressed format. Ideal for professional use and archiving.
    • MP3: A compressed format with smaller file sizes. Suitable for general listening and sharing.
  4. Adjust Audio Settings (Optional): Depending on the format you selected, you can adjust settings like:

    • Codec: (e.g., PCM for WAV, MP3 for MP3)
    • Sample Rate: (e.g., 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz)
    • Bit Rate: (e.g., 128 kbps, 320 kbps for MP3)
  5. File Name and Location: Specify the desired file name and save location for your exported audio file.

  7. Start Render: In the Render Queue, click "Start Render" to begin the audio export process.
