To remove effects from video clips in DaVinci Resolve, you have a couple of straightforward options.
-
Toggle the Effect On or Off: You can temporarily disable an effect without deleting it. This is useful if you want to see how the clip looks without the effect applied or if you plan to use the effect later.
-
Delete the Effect: You can permanently remove the effect from the clip.
Here's how you can do each:
-
Select the Clip: In the timeline, click on the video clip that has the effect you want to remove.
-
Access the Effects: Navigate to the "Effects" tab (often in the Color page or Edit page depending on the type of effect).
-
Toggle or Delete:
- Toggle: Look for an "on/off" switch or checkbox next to the effect's name. Click it to disable or enable the effect.
- Delete: Look for a delete button (often an "X" or a trash can icon) next to the effect's name. Click it to remove the effect entirely.
That's all there is to it! By toggling or deleting, you can easily manage effects on your video clips within DaVinci Resolve.
