Here’s how to transfer your books using Adobe Digital Editions:
- Connect Your Kobo: Use a Micro USB cable to connect your Kobo eReader to your computer. Wait for your computer and ADE to recognize the device. If prompted on your Kobo, tap "Connect." Your Kobo should appear in the Devices section on the left sidebar in ADE.
- Navigate in ADE: If you are currently viewing a specific book, you need to return to the main library view. Click Library at the top-left corner of the screen to go back to the ADE home screen.
- View All Items: From the library home screen, Click All items to see your complete list of books managed by ADE.
- Select and Transfer: Browse through your list of books. Select your new book (or books). Then, drag it to the Kobo eReader bookshelf (listed on the left side under Devices). ADE will then transfer the book to your Kobo.
- Eject Safely: Once the transfer is complete, ensure you safely eject your eReader from your computer's operating system before physically disconnecting it. Then, Eject your eReader within ADE itself.
- Disconnect: Finally, unplug the Micro USB cable from your eReader. Your books should now be available on your Kobo device.
