Sharing your screen during a FaceTime call allows you to show participants what's on your display, whether it's a website, a document, or an app. Here's how to do it, based on the process:

To begin screen sharing on FaceTime:

Steps to Share Your Screen During a FaceTime Call

The process is straightforward and integrated directly into the FaceTime interface. Follow these simple steps while you are in an active FaceTime call:

  1. Start a FaceTime call.
    • First, you need to be in a video or audio call with at least one other person on FaceTime.
  2. Tap the Share Content button.
    • During the call, locate and tap the Share Content button. This icon is typically found within the controls that appear when you tap the screen.
  3. Tap Share My Screen.
    • From the options that pop up after tapping the Share Content button, select Share My Screen. This action will initiate the screen sharing session.

Once you select "Share My Screen," a countdown may appear before your screen begins broadcasting to the other participants in the call. You can stop sharing your screen at any time by tapping the Share Content button again and selecting the option to end sharing.

This feature is a powerful tool for collaboration, showing presentations, or simply guiding someone through using an app or feature on your device directly within your video call.
