How Do You Close a Bra Strap?

Published in Fashion & Apparel 2 mins read

To close a bra, you generally hook the bra closure together at the back. Here's a breakdown of the typical method:

  1. Position the Bra: Place your arms through the bra straps and position the bra cups comfortably over your breasts.

  2. Bring the Ends Together: Reach behind your back and bring the two ends of the bra band together. One end will have hooks, and the other will have corresponding eyes (clasps).

  3. Hook and Close: Hold both ends of the bra closure. Slide the hook piece over the top and through the clasp. Push each side forward, away from your body, until you hear a click, indicating the hook is securely fastened in the clasp. Most bras have multiple rows of hooks and eyes, allowing you to adjust the tightness.

It's worth noting that some bras may have front closures. In this case, the clasp is located at the front of the bra, between the cups, and you would simply align the two sides and clip them together. These are typically designed for easy closure.
