Published in Firefox Configuration 1 min read

You can change the default download location in Firefox through the settings menu. Here's how:

  1. Open Firefox Settings: Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of Firefox and select Settings.

  2. Navigate to the General Panel: In the Settings page, ensure you are in the General panel.

  3. Locate the Downloads Section: Scroll down until you find the Downloads section under the "Files and Applications" heading.

  4. Change the Download Location:

    • Click the Browse button next to the "Save files to" entry.
    • A file explorer window will open. Choose the desired folder where you want your downloads to be saved.
    • Click Select Folder (or the appropriate button depending on your operating system) to confirm your choice.

Now, all future downloads will automatically be saved in the folder you selected.
