To disable Safe Browsing in Firefox, follow these steps:
- Click the Menu button (usually three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the Firefox window.
- Select Options. (On some older versions of Firefox, this might be labeled as "Tools" followed by "Options".)
- Go to the Privacy & Security panel.
- Under the Security section, uncheck the boxes next to both:
- "Block dangerous and deceptive content"
- "Block dangerous downloads"
Disabling these features will turn off Firefox's Safe Browsing protection. Keep in mind that this will make you more vulnerable to malware, phishing attacks, and other online threats. Only disable Safe Browsing if you are absolutely certain about the safety of the websites and files you are accessing.
