How to Add Fonts to Fontcloud

Adding fonts to Fontcloud can be done using two simple methods: dragging and dropping your files or using the 'Browse Files' option.

Fontcloud offers a straightforward way to upload and manage your font library online. Based on the platform's features, you have two convenient methods for bringing your font files into your cloud collection.

Method 1: Drag and Drop Files

This is often the quickest way if you have your font files readily accessible on your computer.

  • Locate Your Files: Find the font files (.ttf, .otf, .woff, etc.) you want to upload on your computer.
  • Open Fontcloud: Make sure you are logged into your Fontcloud account in your web browser.
  • Drag & Drop: Simply drag & drop your font files directly into the left-side panel of the Fontcloud interface.
  • Multiple Files: To save time, you can select multiple font files on your computer and drag and drop them all at once.

Method 2: Use the 'Browse Files' Button

If you prefer a more traditional file selection method, Fontcloud also provides a browsing option.

  • Access the Button: In the Fontcloud interface, find and click 'Browse Files'. This option is designed to open your computer's file explorer.
  • Select Files: A window will pop up allowing you to navigate through your computer's folders. Select the font files you wish to add. You can typically select multiple files in this view as well (often by holding down the Ctrl key on Windows or Cmd key on Mac while clicking, or by selecting a range).
  • Confirm Upload: Once you have selected your files, click 'Open'. The files will then begin uploading to your Fontcloud account.

Both methods are designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to easily expand and organize your font collection within Fontcloud. Choose the method that is most convenient for your workflow.
