2. Cold Water Thawing (For Faster Results)

If you need your apples sooner, you can use the cold water method. However, be aware that this method might result in a slightly softer texture.

  1. Keep the apples in a sealed freezer bag: Ensure the bag is airtight to prevent water from entering.
  2. Submerge in cold water: Place the sealed bag in a bowl filled with cold water.
  3. Change the water regularly: Replace the water every 20-30 minutes to maintain a cold temperature and speed up the thawing process.
