How do you use a fill pen?

Using a button-fill fountain pen involves a few simple steps to successfully draw ink into the pen's reservoir. Here's how:

1. Expose the Button: Locate the blind cap at the end of the pen and remove it. This will reveal the button used for filling.

2. Compress the Sac: Push the button down fully and hold it. This action compresses the ink sac inside the pen.

3. Submerge the Nib: With the button still held down, immerse the pen's nib completely into your bottle of ink. Ensure the nib and feed are fully submerged.

4. Release the Button: Slowly release the button. As the button returns to its original position, the ink sac expands, creating suction that draws ink into the pen.

5. Wait and Repeat (If Necessary): Allow a few seconds for the ink sac to fully fill. If the pen isn't filling completely, repeat steps 2-4.

6. Clean the Nib: Carefully remove the pen from the ink bottle and wipe off any excess ink from the nib and section with a soft cloth.

7. Replace the Blind Cap: Reattach the blind cap to the end of the pen.
