The Ponderosa lemon is known for being one of the biggest lemon varieties.
Ponderosa lemons are medium to large citrus fruits, typically around ten centimeters (four inches) in diameter and weigh between two and eight pounds. However, these oval to oblong-shaped fruits can grow up to five pounds or even more. They are characterized by a short neck and curved, rounded ends. While not as commonly found in grocery stores as other lemon types, their impressive size makes them a notable variety.
