To turn on a Nintendo Switch controller, simply press the Home button.
The Home button is the round button with the house icon located on the controller. Pressing it will power on the controller and connect it to your Nintendo Switch console (provided it's already paired). The LED indicator(s) on the controller will illuminate to indicate successful connection.
