Where is DNA located?

DNA, the blueprint of life, is primarily found within the cell's nucleus and in smaller quantities within the mitochondria.

The Primary Location: The Nucleus

Most DNA, known as nuclear DNA, resides in the nucleus of the cell. The nucleus is essentially the control center of the cell and houses the vast majority of an organism's genetic material.
