The flag 🇱🇦 represents the country of Laos.
Laos, officially the Lao People's Democratic Republic, is a Southeast Asian country known for its mountainous terrain, French colonial architecture, hill tribe settlements and Buddhist monasteries. Its flag consists of three horizontal stripes of red, blue and red, with a white disc in the center of the blue stripe. The red stripes symbolize the blood shed for independence, the blue stripe represents prosperity, and the white disc symbolizes the moon over the Mekong River, as well as the unity of the Lao people.
