How many vertices are there in a cone?

Published in Geometry 1 min read

A cone has one vertex.

This single point, also known as the apex, is where the curved surface of the cone converges. In simpler terms, it's the pointy top of the cone. There are no other vertices (corners) present in a standard cone shape. The base of a cone is a circle and therefore has no vertices.
