Steps to Add Global Entry (KTN) to Delta Profile

Published in Global Entry 2 mins read

To add your Global Entry information to your Delta profile, you need to update your profile with your Known Traveler ID (KTN).

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. When you are approved for Global Entry, you receive a Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) ID, which serves as your KTN.

Follow these straightforward steps to include your Global Entry KTN in your Delta profile:

  1. Log in to My Profile. Access your account on the Delta website or mobile app.
  2. Under Personal Details, update/add your Secure Flight Passenger Data, and if applicable, your Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or TSA-assigned Known Traveler ID. This is where you will enter the KTN provided by your Global Entry membership.

By adding your KTN to your profile, it will be automatically applied to eligible bookings made with your Delta SkyMiles number, facilitating the processing of TSA PreCheck benefits (a benefit often included with Global Entry) when available.

Why Add Your Known Traveler ID?

Adding your KTN helps ensure you receive potential benefits associated with your Global Entry membership, such as TSA PreCheck eligibility, which can lead to a smoother security screening experience at the airport.

Remember to verify that your KTN is correctly entered in your profile to avoid any issues when traveling.
