How Do I Remove a Google Account from Firefox Gmail?

Published in Gmail Account Management 2 mins read

To remove a Google account from Firefox Gmail, you need to log out of all Google accounts and then remove the specific account you no longer want to use. Here's how:

  1. Open Gmail in Firefox: Go to gmail.com.

  2. Access Your Google Account(s): In the upper right corner of the Gmail page, you'll see your profile picture or initial. Click on it.

  3. Sign Out of All Accounts: A menu will appear listing all signed-in Google accounts. Select "Sign out of all accounts." This will redirect you to a Google sign-in page.

  4. Remove an Account: On the Google sign-in page, you'll see a list of accounts you've previously signed in with. At the bottom of the account list, you should find an option labeled "Remove an account." Click on it.

  5. Select the Account to Remove: You'll now see a list of accounts with a "Remove" option next to each. Click the "Remove" button next to the Google account you want to delete from Firefox's memory.

  6. Confirmation: You might be asked to confirm your choice. Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize the removal.

After completing these steps, the selected Google account will no longer be automatically available for login in your Firefox browser. You'll need to re-enter your credentials if you want to use it again in the future.
