Gono disease, more commonly known as gonorrhea, is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacteria Neisseria gonorrhoeae (N. gonorrhoeae). It is also sometimes called “the clap” or “drip.” Sexually active people of any age can get gonorrhea and give it to their partners.
